The film relates the story of a 14 acre community garden in South Central Los Angeles that was started as a form of healing after the L.A. riots in 1992. Beloved by the community and supplying fresh food to a neighborhood with little access to high quality produce, the garden is now facing destruction by developers.
The last weekend of each month, the Historic Lynwood Theatre features a documentary co-sponsored by Sustainable Bainbridge. Tickets are $9.00 each.
