Vote for Poulsbo Farmers Market!
American Farmland Trust, the national leader in Farmland preservation is sponsoring an “America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest, to help support their “No Farms, No Food” campaign. Our favorite farmers market, Poulsbo, is entered in this contest. Click on the link below, enter our zip code, 98370, and you will be able to pull up the PFM and vote!
We’ll keep you posted on the results as the contest progresses. As of
Wednesday, June 18, we were number 2 in WA, with Renton topping the votes.
So, get voting:
We have free “No Farms, No Food” bumper stickers available at the PFM booth.
We learned of a new taste treat this week. Cherries from Martin Family
Orchards or Tiny’s Organics combined with Crimson Cove smoked blue cheese makes an excellent snack, or add to a salad. You can pit the cherries, stuff with cheese and enjoy! Yum!
The crops are flooding into the market, with tomatoes, zuchinni, peas, beans and more! Yummy time of year to be eating local!
Thanks,
Jackie and Michele
PS.
Remember you can use your credit, debit and Quest cards at the PFM booth.
We’re happy to help make your shopping at the PFM even easier.
