The Joel Salatin event was largely organized by Monty Mahan, candidate for Kitsap County Commissioner and longtime advocate for agriculture. This article has a nice photo of the two.
Special thanks go also to Joy Garitone, Jackie Aitchison, the Olympic College culinary program, Nikki Johanson and a host of others. The event really did give a boost to the visibility of local agriculture in Kitsap County.
