Going local can be a lot of fun. Let’s face it, your average trip to the grocery store, while convenient, doesn’t usually provide any opportunity to network for more business, make new friends, trade stories with old ones or to see new possibilities.

Come Meat The People Who Produce Your Local Food
That’s why it pays to take advantage of local events like the after hours open house at Minder Meats in Bremerton. Here are the details:
After Hours Open House and Networking Event
Thursday, November 19, 2009 5:30-7:30 pm
Co-Sponsors: Minder Meats and Silver City Brewery
4921 Auto Center Way
Bremerton, WA
Dress Warmly!
Minder has teamed up with Silver City Brewery and will be offering many samples of locally produced foods and beverages. You may have noticed that Thanksgiving is coming up soon and this will be perhaps your best opportunity to obtain locally produced or processed foods for your holiday table.

Tawnya Hayes
Tawnya Hayes, Minder’s customer relations manager and KCAA board member along with Jim Carlson, president and owner, have put together some unique holiday packages that will be offered that night only as a bribe to entice you to come and experience directly what local food means to you.

Paul Howell Master Meat Artist
Paul Howell, master meat artist and Minder’s production manager will be on hand to guide a tour of the facility and explain what Minder Meats is doing to increase it’s offerings of local, grass fed, free range and whatever else western Washington has to offer through their membership in the Puget Sound Meat Producers Cooperative and the KCAA.
I hope to see you there.
