SUNRISE HILL FARM

Kingston: SUNRISE HILL FARM CORN MAZE AND PUMPKIN PATCH, 11033 NE Tulin Road, Kingston, (360) 297-2334. Open Friday and Saturday 11am-10pm; Wed-Sun, 11am – 6 pm with “Flashlight Maze MADNESS” on Friday and Saturday nights starting at dusk, bring your flashlights! Admission: $8.25 adult; $5.25 ages 5-11 yrs; Free ages 4 yrs and under. For more information visit www.kingstoncornmaze.com. This farm is on the old Arness homestead farm dating back to the 1890’s. It was purchased by Chris Plummer in 1974 and her three daughters, Michelle Rogers, Gayle Waxon and Kim Williams now operate the farm.

KCAA is the most active group advocating for local agriculture & the only group I know of that is working to create a complete network of local producers, processors, retailers, & consumers. I believe that this progressive approach will help to build mutual support & respect between farmers & non-farmers rather than the "us versus them" mentality that is so pervasive in our society. Why am I member of the KCAA?

I discovered early on that “the whole is greater than the sum of it’s’ parts” when it comes to the membership of the KCAA. Individually, many of us have certain knowledge, skills and abilities useful to our own personal producer/marketer endeavors. I have found that the KCAA recognizes, and draws out those talents in a way that allows each member to benefit from his or her association with the other members.
