Biodynamic Beef and Lamb for Sale

SandS Homestead Farm on Lopez Island is a biodynamic farm that raises all of its products following the teachings of Rudolf Steiner . If you want to feed yourself and your family with food that is truly alive, and at reasonable cost, this is your chance.

The animals were born and raised on the farm using no antibiotics or feed supplements of any kind but on fresh grass and hay only.

The animals will be butchered on the farm in the second week of November, using a mobile unit. The beef is priced at $3.50/lb hanging weight and is sold in quarters (120-150 lbs), halves, or the whole animal. The lamb is priced at $4/lb and sold by the whole animal (30-45 lbs)

Customers will pick up the meat at the butcher’s, Del Fox Meats in Stanwood in early December, when it has been aged, cut, wrapped and frozen. Customers will receive a cutting lists for the butcher to follow your precise instructions of what kinds of cuts you wish, what size, or how many per package, or whether you want some of the meat to be made into delicious sausage.

Customers pay the farm directly for the meat, and they pay the butcher for the processing (less than $1/lb) at the time they pick up their orders.
