About Nikki Johanson

Pheasant Fields Farm is a family-run operation owned by Nikki and Allen Johanson. The farm has been in the family for over 50 years. Originally the farm was a part of a homestead purchased by Pete Peterson, a logger, in 1885. His nephew, Conrad Peterson developed it into an egg ranch in the early 1900's. Nikki's parents, George and Margaret Juricich, purchased the farm in 1949 and retired from the egg business in 1980. Since then the farm has become more diversified by adding other animals and larger-scale vegetable production. The egg business is once again thriving, serving customers who want quality, healthy, truly fresh local eggs. Today we raise beef cattle at our Kingston farm and we have expanded our planting areas to more than 6 acres. We lost more than 5 acres of the original 15 acre plot when the SR 3 freeway was constructed. An adjoining 5 acre wooded parcel was purchased for farm expansion and is utilized for several special events.
