Nash Huber raises wonderful food, and employs great people who deliver his product to enthusiastic customers. Nash is an inspiration to all small produce farmers that this model of food production and distribution works.

By honoring Nash Huber with this award, The American Farmland Trust points that way for others across America on how to do this right.

By the way, if you have not eaten any of Nash’s food, you need to go out of your way to do so. They raise exceptionally good food.

  2. Thanks for setting up this blog Jim. Great job!

You might want to let people know that my 6 year old, Bridget Eissler, is raising money for KCAA this Saturday at the Poulsbo Farmers Market as part of the Pink Lemonade Brigade national campaign – see http://www.drinkcrayons.com/pinklemonadebrigade/

People can show their support by coming out to purchase some yummy Tickled Pink Lemonade.

  3. I send congratulations to all of our farmers and citizens who contribute in so many positive ways to promote local food in our community. Nash Huber is a hop and a skip across a bridge from us and I consider him a neighbor to us Kitsaper’s. His dedication to growing healthy food is highly respected and his accomplishments are numerous. I applaud his many successes. He is an example for all us to try to live up to and admire.
We Kitsap farmers have received tremendous help from his community in the form of workshops and seminars sponsored by Jefferson County Extension Service, as well as friendly exchanges of information between one farmer to another. We are all community!
And then comes the bright and brilliant face of a young girl who, with the help of her creative marketing expert parents, presents us with a fund-raising plan by selling pink lemonade! I can’t wait until I taste that lemonade this Saturday, June 21st., at the Poulsbo Farmers Market. Bridget Eissler will be there from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm – come and meet her! The Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance salutes you, Bridget!
    Thank you!
